With ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 (and perhaps other) a funny parametre has crept for iwlagn Kernelmodul which causes that the map WLAN works only in the B/G Mixed fashion. In the file/etc/modprobe.d/intel-5300-iwlagn-disable11n.conf is it is handed over 11n_disable=1.
